AGP -PRO Bus Extenders .... Bus Isolation and Wearout extenders ....
AGPROIX is a Bus Isolation Extender that allows
user to test the AGP-PRO (Accelerated Graphics Port) add-on boards quickly,
without having to power the system down each time. It is especially designed to
save valuable labor and time in the production environment. It is also a great
tool for engineers, during product development, where changes and testing are
required. In addition, it protects the motherboard from being damaged by bad AGP
boards. It has many outstanding features such as, local or external power and
signal isolation controls and fused power lines with short circuit sensing, etc.
It also allows for voltage margin and current measurement. The extender
connector on top, features a universal AGP-PRO connector. The dimension is 8.3"
L x 1.95" H. AGPROIX Specification
AGPROIX user's manual
AGPPRO-01 is a straight AGP-PRO extender designed
as a wearout extender to prolong the life of the AGP-PRO connector, in a
heavily used environment. It can also be used to prevent the I/O board's gold
fingers from damage, when I/O boards are used to test the motherboards
repeatedly. The extender connector on top, features a universal AGP-PRO
connector. The dimension is 4.632" L x 2.327" H.
AGPPRO-11 is a straight AGP-PRO extender of
different shape, designed as a wearout extender to prolong the life of the
AGP-PRO connector, in a heavily used environment. It can also be used to prevent
the I/O board's gold fingers from damage, when I/O boards are used to test the
motherboards repeatedly. The extender connector on top, features a universal
AGP-PRO connector. The dimension is 4.994" L x 1.965" H.
AGP-PROTX-1 is a right angle AGP-PRO extender
designed for the 1U/2U chassis. The connector is mounted on the B-side of the
extender. The extender connector features a universal AGP-PRO connector. The
overall dimension is 4.6" L x 1.15" H.. The connector center
height is 0.95".
AGPROSX4 is a very short AGP-PRO wearout extender,
designed to be on top of the AGPROIX extender as a wearout unit. It is used to
prolong the life of the AGP-PRO connector, in a heavily used environment. It has
mounting holes that matches that of the AGPROIX extender, so they can be hold
together by plastic mounting ears. The extender connector on top, features a
universal AGP-PRO connector. The dimension is 5.076" L x 1.1" H.
There are two versions, -2 for 2 layer PCB and -4 for the 4 layer PCB.
AGP2PROX is a short AGP TO AGP-PRO adapter. It
allows the AGP-PRO board to be tested in a standard AGP slot. The adapter avoids
misalignment of the gold fingers between the two standards. The extender
connector on top, features a universal AGP-PRO connector. However, user need to
specify 1.5VDD or 3.3VDD gold finger cut on the AGP side. The default is 3.3VDD.
The dimension is 4.33" L x 1.1" H.
PRO2AGPX is a short AGP-PRO TO AGP adapter. It
allows the AGP board to be tested in a AGP-PRO slot. The adapter avoids
misalignment of the gold fingers between the two standards. The extender
connector on top, features a AGP connector. User need to specify 1.5VDD or
3.3VDD connector on the AGP side. The default is 3.3VDD. The gold finger
features universal AGP-PRO cut. The dimension is 5.076" L x 1.1"
H.
PCIAGPTX01 is a PCI/AGP-PRO/PCI, 3 in 1 right
angle riser. The overall dimension of the main board assembly is
2.95"H x 7.00"W. The middle AGP-PRO connector is connected
directly to the AGP-PRO gold fingers. The top connector is connected to the
bottom connector. However, there are some dedicated signals that are borrowed
from a small paddle board which is plugged into an adjacent slot. The bottom
connector is a completely independent connection, coming from a separate paddle
board of another PCI slot on the motherboard. The user can order the riser with
PCI-32 bit or PCI 64 bit connectors and AGP or AGP-PRO connector. All
connectors are mounted on the B side of the riser card. This riser is designed
to plug into an AGP or an AGP-PRO slot on the motherboard. The high performance
kapton cable is 3" long and it supports higher PCI bus speed. Picture
shown below is the PCIAGPTX01 populated with 2 PCI-64 bit 3.3V connectors, and a
AGP-PRO universal connector. The top PCI connector is located at 2.571",
the center AGP connector is located at 1.771", and the bottom PCI
connector is located at 0.971" from the bottom of the board..
