Welcome to the world of bus extenders, flexible extenders and various riser cards, including the right angle and multi slot riser cards. Adex Electronics, Inc. is considered by most, the leading manufacturer of high quality bus extenders. Our products basically fall into 3 categories; Bus Isolation Extender, Straight Extender and Right Angle Extender.

The uniquely designed Bus Isolation Extenders are innovative tools for developing and testing of PC add-on boards. They allow the board under test to be added and removed from the system bus, without having to power down the entire system. They offer tremendous time and labor savings during product development and production testing. In addition, we offer wearout extenders, to help protect the connector on the Bus Isolation Extender from being worn out during repeated testing. Our extender connectors are made of heavy duty material for more insertion cycles. In today's fast moving computer market, products are utilized with shorter life cycles than ever before. It would not be cost effective to develop special functional test systems for each application. Therefore, the bus isolation extender is the wisest alternative for functional testing, without having to use expensive setups.

The Straight Extenders are mostly used by engineers during product development and debugging. They are also widely used by production testing of motherboards and I/O boards. Some are utilized as wearout units for the connector or goldfingers in test fixtures.

Adex's Right Angle Risers are most popular in the 1U and 2U chassis market. Using the best of quality and designs, they are known to be the most reliable on the market. Also very popular are the flexible risers for the PCI and AGP buses. The latest addition to the family of Right Angle Risers are the 3 to 1, multi-slot riser cards.
