Service Information
Warranty
Adex Electronics warrants its products against defects in material and
workmanship for a period of 90 days, from the date of purchase. During the
warranty period, Adex will repair or replace the defective product at no charge.
This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident,
abuse, misuse, misapplication or as a result of service or modification made by
others.
Adex Electronics is not responsible for incidental or
consequential damages resulting from use of our products. This includes damages
to property and personal injury. The information provided in the user manual
for each product, has been carefully checked and is believed to be accurate.
However, if there are any inaccuracies within the user manuals, Adex Electronics
assumes no responsibility for any damages resulting from any omission or defects
within the manuals.
Adex Electronics reserves the right to make changes in
future product design without reservation and without notification to its users.
Caution:
Handle and store these products in an electrostatic safe environment. ESD
could damage these products.
Disclaimer
Parts recommended by our personnel are recommendations only. The decision to purchase a particular riser is the responsibility of the user. All information regarding our risers are available on our web site, www.adexelec.com. The user should have knowledge of the intended M/B bus structure and understanding of the various riser cards in order to make the proper selection. All returns are subject to our standard return policy.
Exchange and Repair Policy
Adex Electronics will be happy to repair damaged products for a flat rate of $30.00 per board. The $30.00 repair fee will not cover damage to connectors. If the connector is in need of replacement, there will be an additional charge that varies depending on the board. We will let you know ahead of time the repair cost for your board. Adex cannot guarantee repair for all boards, we will notify you if your product is unrepairable by our service department. If you have an older version of our product and wish to upgrade to the most current revision, Adex will allow you to do so for a cost of only 50% of the current list price. Please call Adex Electronics for a RMA (Return Material Authorization) number before sending any boards back for service or exchange. Exchanges and returns are allowed for 30 days after delivery of merchandise. Exchanges and returns made after the 30 days, are subject to Adex's consensus. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Merchandise purchased under the 30 day evaluation policy may be returned within the 30 days, without being charged the re-stocking fee.
